In view of the inconsistent results on respiratory outcomes across the various studies to date, it is not possible at this time to determine whether or not EPA?DHA omega-3 may be effective as monotherapy or complimentary treatment for children or adults with asthma. There have been a number of studies indicating a reduction in exercise-induced bronchoconstriction in asthmatics.
